North Shore for Palestine (NS4P) is a multi-ethnic, interfaith and inclusive neighbourhood community group that gathers to advocate for Palestinian liberation on the unceded and stolen territories of the səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and L’il’wat7úl (Lil’wat) Nations, which encompass the areas now known as North and West Vancouver, the Sea to Sky corridor, Squamish and Whistler. We are united by our commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle to resist occupation and live on their ancestral homelands without fear, in dignity and with full sovereignty.
As part of the greater movement for a Free Palestine, our events and actions are intended to create community and public awareness around the global injustices operating against the indigenous peoples of Palestine and the Palestinian diaspora around the world. We also organize and take part in peaceful activism to pressure our elected officials to end Canada’s complicity in the genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, and endorse actions to disrupt the business of organizations and companies involved in apartheid, occupation and war.
